Siaya: 30-year-old man arrested after killing his nephew
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his nephew at South Sakwa location in Bondo, Siaya County.
The suspect identified as Vincent Otieno Onyango is suspected of killing Leonard Ouma Agutu after an argument during a drinking spree.
According to Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo, the suspect was arrested at a gold mining site in Gombe village.
He stated that Otieno who is the prime suspect in the murder of Leonard is believed to have ambushed and attacked the victim while on his way home.
This follows a heated argument that had earlier ensued between the duo while on a drinking spree on the same night.
The suspect is set to be arraigned at Bondo Law Courts on Thursday as investigations into the matter continue.
