Nakuru: Police Hunt Boyfriend Accused Of Beheading Form Four Student In Molo

Police in Molo, Nakuru County, have launched a manhunt for a suspect following the brutal killing of an 18-year-old Form Four student at her home in Kiambaa area.

According to a police report, Joy Wangui was found dead inside the family's house on September 4, 2026, shortly after her brother returned from a nearby shop.

The brother told police that he had left Wangui in the house and went to the shop, only to find her dead upon his return.

Officers from Molo Police Station and detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) subsequently visited the scene, where they found the teenager's body in the kitchen.

Police said the victim had been decapitated, with her head found in a corridor inside the house.

An axe, a panga and two knives, all stained with what police suspected to be blood, were also recovered near the body and taken as evidence.

Investigators further reported finding a message written on a wall using what they believe was the victim's blood.

Preliminary investigations identified Wangui as a Form Four student at Molo Secondary School.
