Police Hunting Three Suspects For Assaulting Bar Manager Over ‘Curvaceous’ Waitress Migori

Police in Karangi, Migori County, are on the hunt for three men said to have viciously assaulted a bar manager following an altercation over a 22-year-old waitress.

Azimio Bar manager, 28-year old Oscar Omondi, is currently nursing machete-inflicted cuts at a local hospital after he was attacked by the trio of thugs for allegedly preventing them from leaving the entertainment joint with the said waitress.

Throughout the night Omondi, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said, noticed the thugs making advances towards the "curvaceous" bar attendant as she served revellers at the pub.

Despite finishing their drinks one hour before closing time, the suspects decided to stick around to convince the bar attendant to leave with them. Omondi however intervened in a decision that would soon after prove detrimental.

“Omondi, who was concerned with the high turnover of waitresses at his place of work who had eloped with revellers, was determined not to let the current one go. However, he didn’t know that the three were armed with machetes, knives and other crude weapons,” said the DCI in a statement.

After successfully deterring the three, Omondi went about his business and decided to close the pub an hour after the initial altercation.

He was however waylaid by the three suspects who descended on him with machetes before breaking into the bar’s counter and making away with an unknown amount of money.

Police are currently pursuing the three suspects who are said to be well known in the area.
