"The name Dopamine signifies that beautiful rush you feel when you're at your happiest place & higher self,” Nicki wrote. “Evolving & transcending to the highest heights—on your terms. It's just you & nature. Just you in that reflection. What will you give today? Will you walk or will you run? We can't just stand here."
The rap star added, “These comfortable, yet flyer-than-fly sneakers fit everyone so well. I absolutely LOVE this style. I can't emphasize that enough. It's been so wonderful working with this team @ LØCI. I'm grateful & so proud of the creatives. We'll continue to up the ante for you guys. You're worth it. I love you, Barbz."

The vibrant shoes officially dropped on April 7, 2025.
Away from the launch, Billboard praised Nicki for her long-standing impact on the music industry.
"She's the first female rapper to eclipse triple-digit Billboard Hot 100 hits in 2018 with 149 entries to her name as of publishing,” Billboard noted.
Nicki’s influence in hip-hop is unmatched. Through ever-evolving rap personas, chart-topping singles, fiery features, and unforgettable feuds, she’s kept audiences hooked and critics on their toes.
Her cultural imprint is undeniable, making her one of the most iconic figures in modern music.
The “Trollz” hitmaker has already earned three RIAA diamond-certified singles, each surpassing 10 million in sales.
In 2024, she made history as the first female rapper to have multiple solo songs go diamond. She also ranks among the top 50 artists in U.S. digital song sales.
In 2023, Billboard and Vibe jointly honoured her as the greatest female rapper ever, an accolade Billboard has reaffirmed this year.
Nicki’s consistency, creativity, and trailblazing journey have set her apart in a male-dominated genre for nearly two decades.
Rounding out the top five female rappers of all time were Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Kim, and Queen Latifah.
