Charlene Ruto has shared a romantic post celebrating her husband, Isaya Yunge.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she posted a picture of Yunge wearing a light blue patterned blazer over a beige shirt. She captioned the image with a direct declaration of affection.
"Handsome turk, my husband"
Musical Dedication
To accompany the portrait, Charlene selected a classic soundtrack. She chose Dolly Parton's 1974 ballad, "I Will Always Love You".

The romantic selection played across the digital story frame as she highlighted her spouse. The track features poignant lyrics about lasting devotion.
"And I will always love you"
Song History
Dolly Parton wrote "I Will Always Love You" in 1973 as a professional farewell and thank-you to her mentor and business partner, Porter Wagoner.
Parton joined The Porter Wagoner Show in 1967 and spent seven years as his musical partner, a role that built her early country music career.
Parton wanted to strike out on her own as a solo artist, a move Wagoner strongly resisted. Instead of having another painful argument, Parton wrote the song overnight in 1973 (the same afternoon she penned "Jolene") to express her gratitude and explain why she had to move on.
“If I should stay, I would only be in your way. So I'll go, but I know, I'll think of you each step of the way. And I will always love you, I will always love you,” part of the song lyrics reads.
Background and Engagement
The public display of affection follows the couple's high-profile traditional engagement ceremony.
Charlene and Yunge formally marked their union during a traditional Koito ceremony. The lavish event took place on August 8, 2026.
The celebration was hosted at Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County. Family members, close friends, and regional leaders gathered to witness the cultural milestone.

Yunge is the co-founder and chief executive of SomaApps Technologies, the company behind SomaApp, a mobile platform that connects African students with scholarship opportunities.
According to multiple reports gathered by Mpasho, his technology journey was shaped by an ambition to use digital tools to solve problems affecting young people.
SomaApp was developed after Yunge and his team identified a problem: many local and international scholarships go unclaimed because potential beneficiaries do not know they exist.
