Nakuru: 3 people who were kidnapped by unknown men still missing

Three people are still missing days after they were reportedly abducted and bundled into a Subaru vehicle at the Mutarakwa area along the Mai Mahiu-Narok highway.
According to witnesses, the three were driving a Prado vehicle with known registration number when they were waylaid – and their vehicle shot at on Thursday 5.
In a report recorded at the Chebunyo police station in Bomet, the three, whom the police have identified as Dominic Kipngeno alias Muge, Kiplangat Elvis and an unidentified woman, were travelling to Bomet from Nairobi when the incident happened.
Two Subaru vehicles allegedly trailing them, blocked their way, before its occupants shot at the tyres to immobilise the vehicle. The three would them be bundled into one of the Subarus.
The matter was recorded under OB number: 4/7/12/2024.
According to witnesses, the two Subarus then drove towards the general direction of Narok town.
Pius Koech, a relative to one of the abductees told Wananchi Reporting that they have dispatched a team to visit several morgues to inquire, but no positive reports so far.
“We have also reported the matter to Lari police station,” said the Koech.
The abandoned Prado was towed to Lari police station.
Chepalungu sub-county police boss Panton Analo said his office is working closely with the relatives of the missing persons to help trace them.
