Nairobi: 33-year-old woman found dead in her house
Detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in her house on Wednesday evening.
Cynthia Shivuka, 33, was found dead in her house at Stage Two Kawangware by a relative.
The deceased had on Wednesday morning left for her work together with the relative.
It is not however clear if she arrived at the place of work.
When the relative came back to the house in the evening she found the door locked from the inside and there was no response from her.
She alerted the neighbours who broke the door and found the woman lying unresponsive on the bed.
She had reportedly died hours earlier.
Police arrived at the scene and picked up the body to the mortuary pending autopsy and further probe.
This will determine the cause of death, police said.
