Mombasa: 24-year-old woman stabbed to death while attempting to separate her parents who were fighting
Police in Changamwe, Mombasa County, are hunting for a man accused of stabbing his 24-year-old daughter to death on Saturday evening.
According to police reports, the man was fighting with his wife before their daughter intervened to disperse them and she was stabbed several times in the stomach and chest.
The incident took place in Mcheleni area at around 5.00 pm.
Neighbors who arrived at the scene rushed the woman to the Portreitz hospital. She was transferred to the Coast General Hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
Police are in search of the man identified as Simon Mumbi, who escaped after the incident.
The woman’s body is kept in the Coast General Hospital mortuary.
