Livestock Thieves Surrender After Witchdoctor Deploys Bees To Hunt Them Down in Kakamega

A bizarre incident was witnessed in Botsoto, Kakamega County, on Friday after a witchdoctor reportedly used magical powers to root out three livestock thieves who had struck Emusanda village a few days earlier.

The three culprits; Hillary Momanyi (22), John Bukhazio (28), and Winston Mutiele (20), are said to have voluntarily returned to the scene of crime with their loot - a goat and a calf - after they were attacked by a swarm of bees allegedly on the command of the witchdoctor.

All three suspects were reportedly mooing and bleating during the entire ordeal.

Police reports say that the owner of the stolen livestock, 42-year-old Tolibert Imbiakah, sought out the services of the witchdoctor after waking up one morning only to find that his farm animals had been stolen under the cover of darkness.

“The witch doctor visited the man’s compound and conducted some rituals at the enclosure while mumbling some incantations, then left telling the owner not to worry as the thugs would come looking for him after two days,” the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said in a statement.

“True to his words, today at 10am, their hands mobbed by swarms of bees as they carried the animals aloft bleating and mooing rhythmically.”

The three suspects were handed over to police after Imbiakah positively identified his stolen farm animals.
