A charged mob Wednesday evening attacked Kisii Woman Donya Toto's convoy during a burial in Ogembo in Kisii . 

Toto, however, was not injured but the GK van carrying staff was vandalized. 

One female staff sustained an injury to the neck when a stone smashed through the rear screen of the van. 

Toto was attending the burial of local contractor Daniel Ondari in Bomachoge Chache when the goons escorted her. 

A donation from South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro to the family, she said, caused a stir among the drunken goons pelting the cars . 

"I don't know what is wrong with making a donation on behalf of the Majority Woman Rep,"she stated. 

 Toto was addressing journalists outside her Kisii town office.

The burial was attended by Kisii Governor Simba Arati, Bomachoge Chache MP Alfa Miruka and several Ward Reps. 

The 4.00 pm incident was condemned by local contractors and their officials. 

UDA Nominee Edna Kwamboka termed the incident unfortunate. 

Toto said the increasing thuggery in Kisii was taking a turn for bad.
