Kakamega: Painful, Trader killed in an accident at Chimoi
One person has died in an accident at Chimoi in Lugari, Kakamega County.
The trader, identified as Enoch Wawire, died on the spot following the incident involving a truck on the Eldoret-Webuye highway.
A woman sustained serious injuries after she was also hit by the long-haul truck which was ferrying cement.

It is reported that the ill-fated vehicle was parked by the road before it rolled over to nearby shops.
Matete OCPD Anthony Okout said a manhunt is underway for the driver of the vehicle who fled the scene.
