
Jose Chameleone Latest Health Update Will Thrill His Fans
Jose Chameleone has expressed gratitude to his fans, friends, and the Ugandan government for their support during his tough battle with illness.
In a message shared after undergoing a medical examination at Massachusetts General Hospital in the U.S. on Thursday morning, Chameleone thanked everyone for their prayers and overwhelming love.
"It has been a long journey, but love conquers all. I believe and will never lose hope that my Redeemer will always carry me through! Glory to God always," he wrote in a heartfelt post on Facebook.
The singer, whose real name is Joseph Mayanja, traveled to the U.S. for specialized treatment after his health deteriorated.
Although he did not reveal details of his illness, earlier reports suggested that he was battling kidney complications and infections that had severely affected his body.

In his latest update, Chameleone expressed joy at his recovery progress and extended gratitude to everyone who prayed for him and showed him love.
"I appreciate everyone who prayed for me silently. I also fought hard! Special thanks to the doctors and all those who, without a doubt, believed that somehow I would be okay," he said.
Reflecting on his experience, Chameleone stressed the importance of good health and genuine friendships, stating that his illness had taught him a valuable lesson.
He specifically thanked Juliet and Julie for their immense support during his difficult period.
"Through this, I have learned that health and friendship are the most important things in life! Thank you, Juliet and Julie—you are queens and heroes in this, and never stop doing good for others as well," he wrote.
The singer also expressed deep appreciation for the Ugandan government, acknowledging their role in his medical journey.
"The government of Uganda, thank you so much," he added.
According to his latest medical assessment, Chameleone’s health is improving, and he is now looking forward to returning home.
"Based on today’s hospital check-up, I will be coming back home soon," he concluded.
Chameleone was flown to the U.S. for treatment in January 2025 after his condition worsened, prompting his family and friends to seek urgent medical assistance.

Initially, he was admitted to a hospital in Kampala before being transferred to Boston for advanced treatment.
His illness had caused major concern among his fans, with speculation spreading about the severity of his condition.
However, with his health steadily improving, his much-anticipated return to Uganda is now on the horizon.
