Being in the public eye has its ups and downs and sometimes the latter can be insanely overwhelming especially when you are catching strays over literally nothing. 

Digital content creator and entrepreneur Yvette Obura experienced this last week, and she notes it was not a pleasant place to be in. 

The mother of one while celebrating her birthday, revealed that keyboard warriors turned her into a punching bag last week while her baby daddy, controversial musician, reality TV actor and fellow content creator Kevin 'Bahati' Kioko and his fiancé Diana Marua were celebrating their 8th anniversary. According to Yvette for some strange reason, supposedly malicious people decided to camp on her page with vile words trying to make her feel jealous over the gifts that Bahati gave Diana B during their festivities.

Some of the comments ranged from asking Yvette is she regretted leaving Bahati, while others were people asking God to never bless their exes to such an extent as the envy would destroy them. 

Yvette celebrated herself for not breaking under the constant trolling as she thanked God for taking care of her. "Even in the midst of ridicule/being a laughingstock/the insults/the trolling God has kept me..." the mother of one wrote in part while sharing her birthday photos on TikTok as she celebrated turning 32. 

She went on to give praise to God asking the Almighty to continue taking care of her as he has in the past 32 years.

"He still extends grace and compassion. May I never fall short of His glory, Happy Birthday Mama Mueni," the last of her post read. 

On her comment section a netizen wrote, "that 1st line pierced like no one's business. Happy birthday Yvette may you never fall short of His glory indeed," Responding to this the budding entrepreneur wrote, "they bullied me last week for nothing,"

Taking to her Instagram, she shared a carousel of images celebrating herself and the woman she is. Yvette loudly clapped for herself and all she has achieved penning, "Here's to 32years of God's faithfulness.

What a blessing it is to live healthily for 32years I look at myself and how I carry grace, and I thank God I live inside my body. In a different media post, the mother of one extended her gratitude to those who had been kind to her writing, "Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes, for the kind words, the love and the thoughtfulness. I appreciate each and every person who took their time to celebrate me. The love was overwhelming,"
