Homabay: Man on the run after chopping off his wife's fingers and attacking their 2-year-old son

A 23-year-old woman and her son are hospitalised at Magunga Level 4 Hospital in Suba South, Homa Bay County. The woman’s husband, who is now on the run attacked her and the 2-year-old son.
The man chopped off her three fingers and inflicted injuries on the toddler after hitting him with a blunt object. He then fled the scene at Magunga trading center.
Magunga hospital’s doctor in charge, Richard Ojuok, says the two are now in stable condition at the hospital where they were admitted after the incident.
Suba Sub County Deputy County Commissioner Sebastian Okiring confirmed the incident, saying they have launched a manhunt for the suspect who is still at large.
