
Githunguri: Man sentenced to 10 years in prison for trafficking bhang worth ksh 451,000

A Githunguri court on Thursday ordered a man to pay a fine of Ksh.5 million or serve 10 years in prison after finding him guilty of trafficking bhang.
The defendant was charged with drug trafficking after authorities discovered 15.04 kg of bhang, valued at Ksh.451,200, stored in his residential house.
Senior Principal Prosecution Counsel Antony Kimani presented the case against the accused, calling upon five witnesses who testified and proved beyond reasonable doubt that the suspect was culpable of the offences levelled against him.
