Eric Omondi’s Baby Mama Speaks On Allegations Of Influencing Ruth K’s Breakup With Mulamwah

Eric Omondi’s baby mama, Lynne Njihia, has dismissed rumours claiming she influenced Ruth K to end her relationship with comedian Mulamwah, insisting that such allegations are not only untrue but also impossible.
Speaking when she hung out with Ruth on Saturday, September 20, 2025, she clarified that the timeline of events clearly showed she could not have played any role in Ruth’s decision, since she only learnt about the breakup a month after it had already taken place.
“No one deceived anyone. We all make our own decisions based on our personal experiences. There is no way I could have told her to leave her relationship because I only came to find out that she had already left one month after she did,” she said.
Lynne explained that no one had been misled into walking away from their relationship.
She stressed that decisions about love and separation are deeply personal and based on one’s own lived experiences.
“Today we have come out for a dinner date with Ruth, and we are not fake friends, we are good,” she said.
Lynne further added that she and Ruth remain on good terms, highlighting that the problem with Kenyans is that whenever two friends do not post about each other frequently on social media, they are quickly labelled as fake or distant.
“The problem with Kenyans is that if you do not post each other often, they immediately say you are fake or that you are not close,” she said.
Lynne’s defence came after she went out for a dinner date with Ruth, who raised her own frustrations over the false claims.
Ruth explained that many people were not aware of the truth, noting that Lynne actually found out about her breakup with Mulamwah when it was already being circulated on Nairobi gossip pages.
She added that, in the same way, she herself only learnt of Lynne’s separation from her baby daddy, Eric Omondi, when the news was published online.
“What people do not know is that we never shared the stories of our relationships and all that happened. Do you know that Lynne only came to know that my relationship with Mulamwah had ended when it was already posted on Nairobi gossip pages?”

Ruth went on to stress that matters of relationships cannot be dictated or manipulated by outsiders.
She observed that such choices come from within and that no adult could be deceived into abandoning a partner.
She made it clear that while rumours have tried to paint Lynne as the force behind her split, the reality was that each of them had walked their own journey, facing unique challenges that led to their individual decisions.
“And I also only learnt that she was no longer with her baby daddy, Eric Omondi, when her story was shared online. So one day I was on a call and I asked her, ‘Oh, I see you are no longer in your relationship, why did you leave?’ There was even a story that Lynne deceived me into walking out of my relationship, but the truth is in such matters no one can deceive you. We are all adults and we make our own decisions.”
