Confident Mueni Bespoke: Why Bolo Bespoke Won't Marry a Luo Second Wife

Mueni Bolo, wife to fashion designer Bolo Bespoke, has responded to allegations her husband will marry a Luo woman as a second wife.
When some couples are married from different tribes, some people expect the man to finally marry someone from his 'tribe,' commonly known as "mtu wetu."
Mueni now says she and Bolo have been through thick and thin, hence he would only marry a second wife if they were no longer together.
Bolo had hinted he might take in a second wife, Mueni now says it was just a joke.
"Can Bolo and I post anything without agreeing? No way. You wanted clout, we gave you one. People want you to give them what they want.

Bolo saw comments from people saying he'll also marry a Luo woman. I've been with him for ten years. This is our 10th year. I have been with him at his worst. I am with him in the middle and at his best I will be with him."
Mueni says as a couple they are at a good place.
"The many fights we've had we've finished and we're now resting. It cannot happen. Bolo is someone I know. I can promise you, no one knows Bolo more than I do. He is not that kind of person. Unless we part ways and then he marries but he cannot," she said.
She also stressed that she cannot leave the marriage.
"I cannot leave him. There is no leaving each other. He'll take glucose. If my love runs out we will share his and if his runs out we will share mine," she added.
In a past interview with Dr. Ofweneke, Mueni stated she met her husband while he was broke.
"When I met Bolo, he was broke; I was in the shows then, I was hosting karaoke. I had shows every week, about four times, so I was a little bit okay; I was already living my life. I had my house, a two-bedroom at 21. Bolo was living in Umoja, with his dad."
Mueni added that she was happy with how far her man had come.

"I am proud of his journey because when I found him, he was sleeping on the floor; there was no TV, no seat, just a shoe rack with a lot of ugly shoes," she said.
She defended him saying despite being broke he was responsible with him.
"But here he is; he was a man who was responsible. Bolo was broke not because he was wasting money but because when his dad passed on, he was left the responsibility of taking care of his family. Every coin Bolo got, he was helping his mum and sisters.
He was the sole provider, but he had a very solid heart after his father died. Him being responsible made me love him."
