Bomet: Man Arrested For Sodomizing His 7-year-old Son
A 32-year-old man is being held at the Bomet central police station for allegedly sodomizing his 7-year-old at their home in Cheboingong area.
According to Bomet County police commandant Edward Imbwaga, the suspect, identified as Denis Koech was arrested after his wife reported to the police that he had continuously abused the minor by locking him inside a room and assaulting him when no one was around.
Police visited the scene and arrested the suspect, and the victim was taken to Longisa County Referral Hospital for medical examinations.

County activist Stella Seurey said the suspect's relatives wanted the matter to be solved locally by village elders, but police were able to carry on with the investigation as required by the law
The suspect is set to appear in court on Monday.
