Award-winning music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has vowed never to cheat again.
The singer, in an interview with the Breakfast Club podcast, addressed his controversial personal life, emphasising his dedication to monogamy. He noted how he went through ordeals with his philandering ways and, as such, has turned a new leaf.
Davido noted how he has five kids with four women and also noted how his uncles, who have polygamous families,, are still facing troubles in their relationship.
“I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala. I don’t want any wahala. I have five kids with four women. I’d rather go and live with how my other guys are living. Maybe because I’ve had bad experiences. Sometimes experience is the best teacher”.
Davido also revealed that he and his wife, Chioma, will hold their white wedding in August in Miami, United States.
He also spoke about his twins and revealed that his son looks exactly like his late brother, Ifeanyi, and they act the same.
“We’ve got twins now, a boy and a girl. The boy looks exactly like my son who passed. They act the same. Everything he used to do, he does”.
Recall that a week before Chioma’s 29th birthday in April, last year, a US model, Bonita Maria, had shared an intimate photo of her and the singer and a video of Davido passionately begging over her. She went on to slam Nigerians for dragging her as she set the record straight on their relationship. Surprisingly, despite the scandal, Chioma, had supported Davido at the Madison Square Garden, where he performed.
In 2023, while the couple were mourning their son who died in 2022, several women came out to share their sexual encounters with the singer. Anita Brown who was the most popular of the women, accused the singer of impregnating her as she recalled how they met. She went on to launch several attacks on Chioma, calling her a walking doormat.

Ivana Bay, a Paris entrepreneur, also accused him of impregnating her as she shared screenshots of her alleged correspondence with Davido.
Also, a Kenyan socialite Pendo Stacy made sensational allegations about her alleged romantic involvement with Davido, and to top off the list, a lady by the name, Chisom accused Davido of forcing her to have an abortion with a promise of gifting her N10 million.
When asked if he would consider taking a second wife, Davido responded simply:
"No."
The singer, who married his longtime partner Chioma Avril Rowland, also opened up about the devastating loss of their son Ifeanyi, who tragically drowned in their home swimming pool in 2022.

Reflecting on that painful period, Davido shared:
"My family kept me grounded. When my world went dark, they were there. I come from a very big family. My wife’s family was also there, and they really supported us. My dad even put everything on pause, including his business."
He went on to reveal a touching detail about their healing journey:
"We now have twins—a boy and a girl—and the boy looks and acts like our late son. My wife and I believe he came back. I believe in God. Sometimes I felt like I was healing too fast. You’re smiling, but then realize you need to slow down. I told my boys I needed to take care of home, so I moved my family to Atlanta and got married."

On his rumoured feud with fellow Nigerian artist Tiwa Savage, Davido clarified that there is no bad blood between them:
"Tiwa is like my sister. We grew up together. The situation was personal—she’s close to my first baby mama. At that time, I was going through a court battle and asked her to help me see my daughter. That led to an argument, but it was like how siblings argue. There’s no bad blood. She’s an amazing person, and I’d never let anything happen to her."
