Zari reacts to her trending photos, claims they are edited

Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has come out to express her displeasure at trending photos portraying her as aged.

Through a video on her Insta stories, the South African-based reality TV star said the photos have been doctored by jealous and insecure people who are unable to embrace her graceful ageing.

Addressing the issue head-on, Zari questioned the motives behind their alleged actions.

"Why is it her, how do we try and bring her down? You can't. Some of us are the chosen ones; God handles us differently, so y'all can stop the editing because I do not change. I still stay gorgeous as old as I am," Zari said.

Zari suggested that the people who edit her to appear older than her age are motivated by their insecurities.

"I feel so bad for you. If I were you, I'd probably feel the same as you," she remarked.

"Why are you pressed by my looks? Editing my photos to suit your narrative won't change me over here. If that persists, seek mental help," she advised.

In the allegedly edited photos, Zari's face showed signs of ageing and a subtle droop around her cheeks.

Zari wore a grey crop top, combat jeans, and a white coat casually thrown over her shoulders.

Additionally, there is noticeable loose skin on a section of Zari's abdomen.

The photos have been doing rounds on the internet with many accusing her of faking beauty standards.
