Musician Kevin 'Bahati' Kioko and his baby mama, digital content creator and budding entrepreneur Yvette Obura are beyond grateful to be celebrating their daughter's 9th birthday.

The two former love birds share a child named Mueni whom they've been co-parenting over the years.

Sharing a carousel of Mueni's photos holding a huge number 9 balloon, Bahati expressed his gratitude to God for blessing him with the little one. The singer went on to profess blessings upon her life as he wished her a jolly birthday.

My Daughter @Mueni_Bahati I cant believe you have Turned 9 today; I just realized I am getting Old Happy Birthday Princess,' the 'Abebo' crooner wrote in part.

On her part, Yvette Obura shared an emotional tribute to her daughter detailing how beautiful it has been seeing her find her footing in life.

 "29:11:2015 I brought life into this world and She was named Yvanna Mueni Bahati.9 years later we are here" the content creator penned.

"Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter! Watching you grow has been the greatest joy of my life. You fill our world with so much love, laughter, and pride,"

May the good Lord protect you, guide you and always watch over you, May His face always shine upon you and May His finger of blessings never departure from you," the last of her post read.

She went on to heap praises on her daughter as well as pray for blessings over her life.

"We are so blessed to call you ours,, and we will always be here cheering you on every step of the way. Here's to celebrating the incredible person you are and the bright future ahead. We love you more than words can say.

In a different media share Yvette shared a behind the scenes video of her and her daughter adorably posing for photos in preparation for the birthday celebrations.

Captioning the video she wrote, "With you I've earnt that home is not a place-it's a feeling. It's the love and laughter we share and no matter where life takes us, you will always be my safe space, My comfort and my home.

Thank you for being an amazing daughter for the past 8 years,"

Besides Mueni, Bahati has 4 other kids. 2 girls and 1 boy all whom he shares with aspiring musician and YouTuber Diana Marua and a teenage boy whom he adopted from the same children's home where he was brought up.
