Willy Paul terms infidelity a "disgusting behaviour"

Eve Mungai has introduced a new podcast on YouTube known as Hey Girl.

On the show she invited Willy Paul as a surprise guest.

He began by explaining his thought on the idea of ‘kugongewa’ that has been going all over social media.

“That is not something I would support, it’s disgusting. It’s wrong because most people are normalizing it.” He said.

Eve also raised the question on what happened to Willy Paul some time back being accused of rape, an accusation that made him lose many endorsements and how he handled the situation.

“Mimi hukuwa Na a forgiving heart but for this one it’s something nimekuwa nikistruggle nayo. Wasee wamekuwa wakiniadvice nisilipize mabaya Kwa mabaya, ni sawa what happened happened, you lost what you lost but Mungu ako na sababu zake.” He stated.

He also continued to share that the people who made such accusations didn’t care that he even had a family.

“But hawa wasee walinifanyia whatever they did, they didn’t care kama niiko na familia na watu wananitegemea and I won’t lie I lost everything. I’m just a strong man na hakuna mtu aliwahi ona machozi yangu.”

“Mimi ndio niko na kesi but deep down niko zile za ntakufunga itanisaidia na nini, uko na watoi nani atawaangalia ukienda ndani so nilikaa chini nikaambia God nafeel hii kitu ni hard but niliamua tu kuiacha.” He added.

Willy also shares how he deals with betrayal adding he had been betrayed severally in this industry.

“I cut ties, vile ulikuwa unatrust someone unaeka chini na kwa maisha yako unajua mahali umeweka kila mtu.”

Explaining that he does not attend most events because most artists feel like they will lose so much in supporting others.

“The reason apa Kenya siezi itwa event ama showbecause nikienda apo nitawafunika wote kwa show yao and that’s a fact na io ndio kitu inauma wasanii wengi wenye tuko hii industry nao. Utapoteza nini ukinisupport? Nothing, utakuwa umeinua Mkenya alafu Mkenya akipeleka flag uko nje ata wewe unainuka.” He finished his statement.
