Gospel-cum-secular artiste Willy Paul has advised women to avoid taking the 'easy route' in life and pursue an honest living.
In a lengthy post on social media, the 'Toto' hit singer argued that while it may appear lucrative, it is equally short-lived as shortcuts can have dire repercussions including death.
He further advised women not to give in to the social media pressure that continues to carry away people in today’s society.
"Women sio lazima form, kama hauna pesa kaaa home! Avoid hawa marafiki wa akona gari we’re picking you up. Social media pressure isikuue please. Go out there and hustle the right way. Hii mambo ya shortcuts ndio itamake life yako short. It's never too late to start afresh," he stated.
Loosely translated as;"(Women, these parties are not a must, if you don't have the resources, just stay home. Avoid friends who lure you to indulge since they have vehicles to pick you up. Don't let social media pressure kill you. Go out there and hustle the right way. Shortcuts will only cut your lives short. It's never too late to start afresh.)"
Willy Paul's sentiments come in light of increased cases of women losing lives while others are assaulted at the hands of their acquaintances and trusted friends.
