Willy Paul speaks after his dramatic arrest yesterday

Yesterday Willy Paul stunned and shocked fans when he alleged that police had come to his Syokimau home to arrest him.

But it seems that it wasn't a clout-chasing stunt as earlier believed after video evidence emerged of the cops dramatically arresting the 'Sitolia' singer.

While speaking after his release, the artist informed his fans that he was okay and thanked them for their support.

"I just want to say that I am grateful for all the support, and I am humbled. I am home safely, God bless you all," Willy Paul said in a video he posted on his Instagram page.

However, the former gospel artist did not talk about his arrest or disclose why he was held at the police station for several hours.

According to court documents seen by The-Star, the musician is set to face charges following his arrest yesterday.

The arrest is allegedly related to allegations of a hit-and-run accident.

In a series of alarming posts on March 4, Pozee expressed concern for his safety, attributing it to the police and making allegations of false accusations.

According to Willy, he received information about police officers stationed outside his residence, accusing him of a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian.

In his messages, he stressed that this wasn't the first time he faced such accusations, alluding to a prior encounter with law enforcement in similar circumstances.

The artist's communication conveyed urgency and anxiety as he called on his followers to hold the police accountable if anything untoward happened to him.

Through his online statements, Willy Paul painted a picture of imminent danger, claiming that the police officers outside his home had harmful intentions.

He appealed for support and vigilance from his audience, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
