Willy Paul has dropped the strongest hints yet that he could be going back to the gospel industry after four years in the secular world.

In a statement on Tuesday 30, 2024, Willy Paul promised to reinvent himself and bring back the old shelf.

On Monday, Willy Paul expressed his joy and optimism after he attended a church service for the first time in seven years.

The controversial musician exuded confidence that 2024 would be a great year for him after he went back to church.

"I've Not Been To Church Since 2017, Because The Church Did Something Bad To Me. But Yesterday I Attended a Church Service In Embakassi And I Feel So Relieved ?. It's Going To Be Wonderful Year Coz I've Started Mine In Church !!" Willy Paul stated.

Willy Paul quit the gospel industry in 2019 and started releasing secular songs.

In July 2021, the singer explained in detail in a post on social media why he decided to quit the gospel music industry and opted to do secular songs.

Willy Paul noted that discrimination and favouritism were the main reasons why he opted to cross over to the secular industry.
