Gospel singer Israel Mbonyi excited many after he recently revealed he is single.

Truth be told, he is young, talented and handsome.

In an interview with Lynn Ngugi, she shared

" I am in love with my Jesus.

I am waiting for God's time.

When God still has things for you to do, he won't allow you to go through that (dating) even if you want it."

Mbonyi hinted he might have met a few people he liked but God did not approve

"There are good people out there but when God has something for you, he prevents distractions by making sure you do not meet those people.

You meet people, you love them and want them in your life but God doesn't approve.

For me, it's a matter of time, when God puts everything right it will happen."

Asked how he deals with urges as a young man who commands attention from women around the world, Mbonyi responded

" I am distracted by music and worship."

He went on to add he would not mind starting from scratch with a woman.

"I believe in starting with someone. It is not easy to know if someone loves you for who you are or what you have.

If you find someone earlier and start together it is good, if not God will still bring you someone."
