Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz has revised his statement about being single, clarifying that he is not currently unattached.

In an Instagram post, the Tanzanian superstar emphasized that the claim of his singleness is impossible.

"Niwajulishe tu kwamba swala la usingle limeshindikana hivyo naendelea kula raha Hubani kwenye kisiwa na na kitongoji kile kile cha karafuu. Na wote mlokua mshadadia poleni sana. Siku nyingine acheni papara, mjifunze kusikiliza ata kidogo. Watu hawaachani kifala tu hivyo," he said.

Diamond had earlier announced on his Instagram Insta Story that he was no longer in a relationship, stating that no one should romantically associate him with any lady.

"From today on ningependa niwatangazie rasmi kuwa I AM SINGLE, sidate wala sina mahusiano na mwanamke yeyote...hivyo nisiwekewe mwanamke yeyote kama mwanamke wangu. Itakapotokea kudate ama kuwa na mahusiano nitawajuza ama kuwatambulisha as I always do," the 'Jeje' hitmaker said.

The message was interpreted as a confirmation of his separation from his signee and presumed lover, Zuchu.

The pair had been rumoured to be in a relationship, with videos of their intimate moments over the past 2 years sparking speculations.

The contrasting and confusing statements by Diamond comes barely a week after his mother Mama Dangote (who is the biggest voice in his life) stated that she didn't know any woman in his life.

She added that according to her, Zuchu was just her son's employee and that she didn't see anything romantic about their relationship.

That the musician has made these contradictory remarks a few days later will be met with a lot of eyebrow-raising as to what might be happening behind the scenes.
