Diamond Platnumz planned a surprise birthday party for his signee and lover Zuchu. The birthday surprise happened during their stay in South Africa.

A video shows a happy Zuchu getting into the venue, stepping on the red roses that had been poured on the stairs as she marveled at the decor of the venue.

The two were serenaded as they drunk their champagne and took dinner. The surprise got Zuchu emotional as she thanked her boss-turned-lover for planning it all. 

Zuchu was wearing a grey maxi dress while Diamond stepped out wearing all black with white sneakers.

Diamond has recently been going to South Africa to shoot the Netflix reality show, Young, Famous and African. Whether the rumours that Zuchu has joined the reality show is a question yet to be answered.

Zuchu recently unfollowed Diamond on Instagram, stirring rumours that they might have broken up.

She then took to social media to warn a woman who was threatening her love for Diamond.

She wrote in a cryptic message.

"Kuna nzi kaingia chumbani kwangu yaani kashakua too comfortable mpaka anaruka ruka mbele ya uso wangu ama zake ama zangu. Nikimkamata atahadithia nzi wenzake sipendi nzi."
