Vybz Kartel announces he will perform in Kenya next year

King of Dancehall Vybez Kartel has announced he will be performing in Kenya next year.
The legendary musician also known as World Boss by his most devoted fans, delivered the news as he revealed that he is looking forward to scheduling African concerts.
Confirming to Brando Music Review show on Youtube Sep 25, Kartel acknowledged the massive support he has from Kenyan fans.
He touched on various topics in a 5 part series, including almost giving up on music, the importance of artistes owning their music,
He called his incarceration a bad thing, "It couldn't be a good thing, make the good of a bad situation." he shared.
He said he would tour Africa, which would likely take a month or two.
"Next year. I will be there. You can't do two dhows and left, you have to do a tour, you have to spend at least a month or two" he assured.
"Next year. The people of Kenya consider me one of their own," he shared.
In a short clip of a conversation between the two, Kartel adds that Kenya, Ghana, Zimbabwe South Africa, Rwanda, Nigeria, Congo, and Senegal are some countries he would focus on.
The Poor People Land hitmaker is loved and news of his release from Prison excited Kenyans.
It was heavily speculated that he would make Kenya his first priority for a concert, as Kenyans tagged him severally on his social media, telling him of their expectations.
Kartel was set free by a court back in July with fans calling it a significant legal victory.
Vybez born Adijah Palmer was set free by a Court of Appeal after it unanimously decided not to order a retrial for the 2011 murder of Clive "Lizard" Williams, leading to the artist's release.
