Video of Azziad Nasenya Saying She Hates Asking for Money Emerges: "I Have a Problem with Begging"

Azziad Nasenya has been at the center of public debate following allegations of unpaid debts. The claims emerged after blogger Edgar Obare shared anonymous messages accusing her of borrowing large sums and failing to repay them.

As the controversy grew, an old interview resurfaced in which Azziad discussed her views on borrowing money. Speaking with filmmaker Phil Karanja, she emphasized her preference for financial independence.

“There is satisfaction in earning your own money. I sleep well knowing I made that KSh 50 myself. I don’t know how to beg, and I never want to be in a position where I have to,” she said.
