Upendo: Warm Welcome as Baba Jimmy Briefly Returns to Kenya
The popular family relocated to Kentucky in the USA in 2024,
Baba Jimmy aka Isiah Carrier showing his arrival at the JKIA, a day ago, without his Kenyan family.
He was greeted by so many fans upon arrival at the airport, and he acknowledged them "Alot of people know me. She is abroad with the kids, I've come for Church things for about a month, then I head back. " he informed other fans who mobbed him.
Adding "It's difficult to travel with all of them, now you know the expenses, but you know one day" he informed another fans who asked about Mama Jimmy.
Baba Jimmy is the founder of the Wajumbe Records as the founder. The family lives in Matunda, Mois bridge in Kakamega County. He is also a former Missionary.
Isaiah, alongside his wife Judith, have two children, and are living in Indiana, where he grew up. He is adored for his Luhya/Kiswahili accent, and the loving open relationship with his family.
“When we came to Kenya, we found an entirely different environment and culture. We settled in a small village lacking basic amenities like clean water and electricity. We did not have a car and often fell sick because of the dirty water. It was difficult, but with time, we got used to the environment, made friends, and began learning Swahili,” Isaiah recounted to a local TV station.
