Veteran media personality Tom Japanni has parted ways with Standard Media Group where he was a boss.
Japanni who used to head the radio division at the media house announced his exit on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Taking to his socials he said; “It's a wrap. Prepping for a new season. A new calling,”.
According to LinkedIn, Tom Japanni has been the Head of Radio at Standard Media Group for 11 years after taking up the role in February 2013.
Before joining Standard Media Group, Japanni had worked as a senior producer at British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
Recently, Standard Media Group has been facing financial struggles that have seen their employees go without salary for months.
This unfortunate turnout of events has forced media journalists to ditch the media house for greener pastures.
