Mama Kaunty has announced the pause of the weekly show by Oga Obinna and Dem wa Facebook until further notice.

Mama Kaunty cited online trolls as the cause of the sudden break.

"Kuanzia sasa, it has been paused until people calm. Bebii amepewa maneno online sana. Mnamuokota sana hadi Obinna mnamuokota na familia yake which is not good," he stated.

He added that some fans raise intriguing sentiments that aim at causing disunity between Obinna and the comedienne.

"Licha ya kuwa mnamwonyesha upendo kwa kazi yake, mnajaribu kuchoma pahali ambapo anapata riziki." He stated.

However, he urged fans to calm down adding that soon an official statement will be released.

For a while, there have been speculations that things are not moving smoothly between Obinna and Dem wa Facebook, and neither has addressed the issue. 

In a past interview, Obinna recounted how their collaboration began. After hosting Dem Wa Facebook on his show, he realised the potential of their partnership and decided to create something more permanent.

Fans are hopeful that the two will solve their issues and go back to working together.
