Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika has made it clear that her chapter with singer Brown Mauzo is permanently closed.
Speaking in a candid Q&A with fans on social media, Vera dismissed speculation of a possible reunion with her ex-husband, insisting that it is not an option.
“That Could NEVER Happen”
The mother of two did not mince her words when asked if she would ever consider reconciling with Mauzo.
“That could NEVER happen. When I’m done with someone, I’m DONE done. I literally did a whole divorce party,” she declared.
Vera and Brown Mauzo, who tied the knot in 2020, shocked fans when they confirmed their split in 2023. Despite attempts to maintain a cordial relationship, their separation has been anything but smooth.

Co-Parenting Drama
The pair share two children together, Asia Brown and Ice Brown. However, recent weeks have exposed deep cracks in their co-parenting arrangement.
- Vera has accused Mauzo of being inconsistent with child support.
- Mauzo, on the other hand, claims Vera is using the children to control the narrative on social media.
- Both have traded indirect jabs online, leaving fans divided on who is in the wrong.
The disputes have played out publicly, with each party posting cryptic messages and videos hinting at behind-the-scenes tension.
“Co-parenting should be about the kids, not personal battles,” Vera emphasised in one of her recent Instagram stories.
Divorce Party and Moving On
In 2023, Vera made headlines after hosting what she called a “divorce party”, celebrating her new chapter away from Mauzo.
The move drew mixed reactions, with some applauding her confidence and others accusing her of mocking the sanctity of marriage.

Despite the criticism, Vera has continued to stand firm, stating that she prefers to focus on her businesses, motherhood, and personal growth rather than dwell on the past.

What’s Next?
Vera has hinted that she is not interested in rushing into another relationship, choosing instead to prioritise her children and career.
Mauzo, meanwhile, has been focusing on his music, though his name continues to trend more for his personal life than his songs.
For now, one thing is clear — a Vera and Mauzo reunion is off the table.
“I’ve moved on. There’s no looking back,” Vera affirmed.
