
Tanzanian singer Zuchu celebrates major milestone

Tanzanian singer Zuhura Ousman Sound took to Instagram to celebrate a major milestone in her career.
Zuchu was the third most followed female artist in Africa on YouTube commanding 2.68 million subscribers on her channel.
The 'Sukari' hit maker is signed to WCB Wasafi record label. She was awarded the Silver Plaque by YouTube for hitting 100,000 subscribers in a week.
Zuchu became the first East African female artist to achieve this milestone and reach 1 million subscribers 11 months later.
She was named AFRIMMA Emerging Artist of the year in 2020.
The Utaniua singer also became the first artist to hit 100 million streams on the music platform, Boomplay.
She has collaborated with many artist within Tanzania including; Diamond Platnumz who is her boyfriend and Rayvanny.
Zuchu bagged 5 awards in the Tanzania Music Awards that was held on April 2023.
