Content creator and businesswoman Shorn Arwa is celebrating her 29th birthday and has opened up about the emotional experience she has had since the day began.

On Friday, December 12, 2025, on Instagram, she said she has been crying since midnight and cannot fully explain why the day feels so overwhelming.

Shorn, who is also a mother of one, said this birthday is different from the others because she decided to be very intentional about how she celebrated it.

She explained, “I’m not so big when it comes to birthdays, mine specifically, so for the first time I was so intentional about my birthday and did so many nice things for myself.”

She added that the emotions came in strongly even though she was not sad.

“For some reason I can’t explain! I have been so emotional, been crying since the clock hit 12, crying as I write this. Not like I’m not happy, поооооооо, I’m so emotional, and I don’t know why,” she said.

Shorn also reflected on how quickly life seems to have moved. She shared that waking up and realising she had turned 29 brought a mix of gratitude and disbelief.

“And suddenly it’s my birthday! Suddenly, I’m big 29 and not 20 anymore,” she wrote, describing how the milestone made her look back at her journey.

She said she has grown into a version of herself that she loves deeply.

“Suddenly I’m in love with myself as I have never been,” she said, adding that reaching 29 has helped her appreciate her achievements and the person she is becoming.

Shorn also mentioned that many of the things she once prayed for are now part of her everyday life. The birthday message showed a woman who is grateful for her progress, proud of her growth, and deeply emotional about the journey that brought her to this point.

“Suddenly, everything I prayed for is my new normal,” she said.

This birthday, she said, made her reflect on how far she has come and why the milestone moved her to tears.
