The singer, songwriter and musician was also the first male RnB singer from Kenya after three multi-talented Kenyan women also featured on the platform and gave stellar performances.
COLORS bring to the table immaculate production value, in sonics and visuals, and it accentuated Bien's legendary musical skills as he passionately crooned and delivered a knockout performance.
ColorsXStudios wrote on Instagram: “Kenyan songwriter, musician, and vocalist Bien brings the good vibes with his uplifting performance of his new single ‘True Love’."
While appreciating the rare opportunity, the Sauti Sol stalwart said, “It was all a dream. I have been watching COLORS for years, so when @spotifyafrica called and asked if I was interested, it was a no brainer! Stream 'True Love' from my new album on all DSPs now. Thank you SPOTIFY for being incredible!"
Spotify has partnered with COLORSxSTUDIOS to spotlight the smooth rhythms of Kenyan R&B through six exclusive 'A Colors Show' performances.
The first artist to grace the COLORS stage was the talented singer-songwriter Lisa Oduor-Noah, who mesmerized the audience with her performance of “For Keeps,” a song she wrote back in 2017.
Following Lisa’s captivating performance, Xenia Manasseh, a singer-songwriter and a Spotify RADAR artist, graced the stage with her breathy vocals and masterful lyrics.
Former Camp Mullah member Karun was also featured where she performed 'Only You', in an ode to a past lover.
“I hope to keep discovering who I am and just being fiercely myself in whatever medium that is, and so music is what I’m doing right now, and I hope it kind of just gets a bit more powerful,” said Karun on her future ambitions.
Monica Kemoli-Savanne, Spotify’s Artist & Label Partnerships Manager, East Africa, expressed her delight in bringing this collaborations to life, stating:
