The mother of one clarified that she has never been friends with Sonnie (Mulamwa's ex) nor has she met her.

'This whole story came about after Sonnie who I deeply respect said I am her friend.

People assumed Sonnie and I were friends and that I snatched Mulamwah.

People blew it out of proportion. We have never met and we have never schooled together."

Ruth went on to say

'She can confirm we have never been friends.

I lived and schooled in Eldoret, I only came to Nairobi recently."

Mulamwah recently said he started dating Ruth while his now ex-Sonnie was pregnant.

According to the father of 3, he started dating his current baby mama, Ruth K while his ex-girlfriend Carol 'Sonnie' Muthoni, was still pregnant with their daughter.

Mulamwah defended his now lover Ruth K highlighting the aspiring actress did not "steal" him from Sonnie as him and Sonnie had already broken up before she gave birth. A little eyebrow-raising considering their demeanor during the said period. 

In a video posted on his Instagram page addressing his relationship triangle Mulamwah said, "We had broken up already. And during that period, I was feeling very lonely, and I felt as though I would lose myself," emphasizing the loneliness is what compelled him to search for a new lover.

The father of 3 went on to argue being on your own in his industry and line of work was very detrimental to him and his character, leading him to worry he would completely mess himself up if he did not find a woman to ground him.

"When you are creative, and you have no girlfriend, trust me, there is nowhere you are going. You will be having girlfriends every day. Every show, you'll leave with a new woman and waste your life. That's why I started looking for an option," the aspiring actor added.

Finishing up he praised Ruth noting that even though he actively pursued her, she turned him down as she was hugely concerned by Carol Sonnie's pregnancy.

"And I even told Ruth K when we were courting that even if she turned me down, I would have another girlfriend. But she wasn't accepting because she was seeing Carol with her pregnancy, and that's why I love her to date," Mulamwah added.
