Reggae artist Glen Washington reveals he quit smoking weed

Celebrated reggae artist Glen Washington has revealed he quit smoking weed.

In an interview with K24, Glen said quitting was a personal decision. "I used to smoke the herb but not anymore, I stopped by myself, I learned it's not necessary.

It was a mind-over-matter thing. I felt so helpless. I am not telling people how to live their live, I am doing it for me I want to be healthy.

" Former presidential aspirant George Wajackoya was campaigning for the legalization of weed.

Speaking during an interview with Dr. Ofweneke on TV47 on Wednesday, September 11, 2024,

Wajackoyah explained that God was not a fool to declare bhang a holy plant. “ Cannabis, the holy plant, has been mentioned in several books of the Bible, Hebrew, Genesis1;29. Who said marijuana is bad?” Wajackoyah asked.

He maintained that in his marijuana legalization plan in Kenya, he was to focus on hemp which has two divisions, the equatorial used for domestic consumption as an ingredient in the making of lotions aiding in the beauty enhancement of women.

The second division focuses on the industrial use of the hemp seeds and the leaf which he said,

“it is not very toxic when used properly.”

He also educated Kenyans on the job opportunities that hemp can create for the youth.
