Singer Alex Apoko also known as Ringtone has opened up about his lowest time in his career. The singer was explaining why he had taken a long break from releasing music.

"I was going through life challenges," he said

He revealed that his accounts had been locked after he was served a letter by a certain institution.

"Nilitumiwa barua na taasisi fulani ya serikali, wakalock account, Nikakua na shida, nikakosa furaha," he started off

"Nimezoea kiburi yangu fulani, nikiwa najua mfukoni niko sawa, mimi kawaida yangu natembea na laki moja hio ni budget yangu ya daily."

He said certain people began being jealous "Wakaanza kuninyang'anya property fulani."

"Ilifika wakati karibu hata nichukue maisha yangu. Nilikua very emotional, nikagive-up, nilikua nataka kujitia kitanzi. "

(I was sent a letter by some government institution, they locked my account, I grew up in trouble, I was unhappy. I'm used to my pride, knowing that I'm fine in my pocket, I usually walk with one thousand shillings, that's my daily budget. People felt jealous. They started confiscating some property from me.  almost took my own life. I becane very emotional, I gave-up, I wanted to commit suicide)

 The singer is back into the music industry with a new song dubbed 'Lawyer'
