Rayvanny mobbed by Mzungu fans jostling for selfies: "Love made in London"

Tanzanian music star Rayvanny found himself at the centre of a fan frenzy in London after a media tour at BBC 1Xtra.

The "Tetema" hitmaker, currently promoting his new single Alone featuring UK drill artist Headie One, was mobbed by fans eager to snap selfies with him.

Chaotic scenes unfolded outside the radio station, with fans pushing and shoving to get a moment with the Next Level Music label owner.

Despite the commotion, Rayvanny remained calm, smiling and engaging with his admirers, later sharing their selfies on his social media.

During his BBC 1Xtra appearance, Rayvanny shared the airwaves with some of the UK’s top talents, discussing his musical journey, latest projects, and his perspective on the global music industry.

His visit to London is part of a broader effort to expand his brand and connect with international audiences.

Meanwhile, the music industry is abuzz with news of Mbosso Khan’s exit from Wasafi Records, a label that has seen several high-profile departures in recent years.

Diamond Platnumz, the label’s founder, confirmed the news on Instagram.

Rayvanny himself parted ways with Wasafi in 2022, paying a hefty KSh 50 million to buy out the remainder of his 10-year contract, which he signed in 2016.

Rayvanny’s growing global appeal and his ability to connect with fans across borders highlight his rising influence in the music world.
