Content creator 2mbili recently visited artist VJ Patelo at his Utawala residence, where the musician opened up about a potential music collaboration with rapper Diana B, clarified the meaning behind his ‘VJ’ moniker, and offered intriguing hints about his substantial net worth.

The visit provided a glimpse into Patelo’s lavish lifestyle and his unique approach to the entertainment industry.

Music Collaboration with Diana B on the Horizon?

During their conversation, 2mbili questioned Patelo about rumours of a "doba" (project or collaboration) with Diana B, Bahati's wife.

Patelo initially claimed ignorance of such rumours, stating, "I don't know about that rumour".

However, he soon entertained the possibility, indicating that a music project could indeed happen under certain conditions.

"Akifika bei, everything will be clear," Patelo explained in some deep sheng language.

This suggests a potential readiness for a musical alliance, highlighting that he and his team are ready and willing to be on work with artists who can match their vibe and rate-card.

On his upcoming projects, Patelo revealed that their a music project with Wakadinali’s Munga that will soon be released.

The Meaning Behind 'VJ'

Patelo also took the opportunity to explain his distinctive stage name, 'VJ'. When asked by 2mbili why he uses the moniker, Patelo clarified, "VJ is a king’s name”. He then revealed its profound meaning.

"It means leader,” Patelo stated. He further elaborated that it signifies "not just any leader, but a leader who is hugely respected. A conqueror in short."  

A Glimpse into Patelo's Wealth

The conversation also delved into Patelo's financial standing, with 2mbili observing his opulent surroundings filled with "riches" and "diamonds". When pressed about his "network" (net worth), Patelo remained elusive but offered a tantalising clue.

He challenged viewers to guess, stating, "People in the comments should tell us what they think the net worth could be... then we will tell them the actual amount".

He then gave a significant hint, suggesting his net worth is not "below one point something” without clarifying whether it’s a million or a billion.

He however hinted that it can be in any of the distinctions of a million, billion and possibly a trillion.

Patelo also hinted at a substantial personal purchase, revealing he paid "over 10" for something, without specifying the currency or item.

Patelo and Diana B’s Online Beef

A week ago, Patelo and Diana B were engaged in an online exchange of words, after Diana released her rap song, Bibi ya Tajiri.

Patelo trashed the rap song, telling Diana to sing it for his husband Bahati inside a washroom.

Diana Marua hit back at him, initially claiming that she even didn’t knew who he was, claiming that he only wears fake jewelry.
