Dem Wa Facebook has finally cleared the air regarding rumors that her former boss, Oga Obinna, repossessed the Nissan Note he gifted her in September 2024. The gift, a symbol of Obinna’s recognition of her talent and hard work, was initially met with much fanfare. However, recent online speculation suggested a falling out between the two, leading to claims that Obinna had taken back the car.

These rumors surfaced after Dem Wa Facebook was no longer seen driving the red Nissan Note. Social media users quickly concluded that the car had been repossessed.

In a recent interview with Mungai Eve on February 3rd, Dem Wa Facebook refuted these claims. She explained that she frequently switches cars, both as a personal preference and for privacy. She noted that residents in her apartment complex often share vehicles, making it common for her to drive different cars throughout the week.

“People have already claimed I was denied the car just because I don’t post it online,” she stated. “I have the car, but I prefer not to show it online. Obinna isn’t the kind of person to gift and take back. I have a car, but just for my privacy, I don’t post it online. And also, in our apartment, everyone has a car. So, we often share cars. So, when people don’t see me with my car, they say it was taken away.”

Dem Wa Facebook also addressed the mental pressures of fame, emphasizing her determination not to let public speculation affect her. “I drive like four different cars a week,” she said. “Being an entertainer will not cause me depression. I will live my life the way I want, not according to people’s expectations.” She remains focused on her career growth and personal happiness, unfazed by the ongoing rumors.
