Nollywood Actor Mr Ibu hospitalised, seeks assistance

Mr John Okafor won the Best Comic Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Award for in 2005.
Nollywood comic actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu, has asked for financial assistance following an ailment.
He posted a video on his verified Instagram page realmribu where he said he was sick but did not disclose the ailment.
Speaking from his hospital bed, Ibu stated he had been admitted and had been down for a few weeks.
“I am hoping for your prayers and assistance. As I am speaking to you, I am still lying down in the hospital. The medical doctor of this hospital said the best solution is, in case his idea did not work, the best idea is to cut off my leg. See me. If they cut off my leg where will I go to? Please, be in the prayers for me. I do not want my leg to be cut off. Thank you so much. God bless you”, he appealed.
His family added that he is not getting better and needs to be flown abroad for better treatment, as they have exhausted all their financial resources.
John Okafor began his journey in the movie industry in 1998. He featured in movies such as Mr Ibu, Mr Ibu in London, Police Recruit, Ibu in Prison, Keziah among others.
