
"No ugali, rice and chapati" YY Comedian shares diet tips he has been following to help with weight loss

Creative director, script writer and digital content creator Oliver Otieno popularly known as YY has been off ugali for close to a month in a bid to shed off weight.
Sharing on his Instagram stories the comedian posted several videos of himself shirtless while at the gym flexing his chest and arms proudly.
YY went on to reveal he was on a weight loss journey and hoped to achieve his desired results within the course of the next 2 months. Captioning the post the father of one shared some of the nutritional habits he'd picked up to help him achieve his goal with more ease.
"Day 20 without ugali, rice and dinner," started off YY as he went on to celebrate his belly fat diminishing. "We are almost flat... next two months will be a different story. Keep it here," his post read in part.
In a different video YY maintained weight loss was, "diet 80% training 20%," as he urged people to ditch the famous Kenyan meal (ugali) or actively reduce the portion they consume, "punguza ama uache ugali... ugali!!!"
Finishing up he shared a few videos of himself actually working out as he shared a few more tips that were aiding him with his journey.
"Nilisahau... chapati pia! Ondekea kama burukenge, kwanza hiyo," the script writer wrote accompanying his post with several laughing emojis. His final 'secret'? Not having meals past 6pm, "na six ikifika kama hujakula anything rukisha to the following day,"
