“Hii kitu mbona ndugu yangu aliachilia. In Luhya culture inheritance—‘Okhukalusia’—is allowed. You could have just said, ‘My brother Salasya, you’re still single, I’m leaving her to you.’ She is so beautiful. Mulamwah, bring her back or give her to me—I won’t say no! Shemeji ni mboga.”
