Artist and entrepreneur Akothee has expressed her displeasure with people she thinks her close friends avoided her when she needed them to help to do something meaningful.

Using her social media pages, the mom of 5 published a long message describing the journey to develop her school Akothee Academy, and said that it has been a difficult time in which she found herself alone without help.

"This year my hands are full with Akothee Academy. Even my friends who I thought would support me, I have eaten blue ticks ??? I was looking at myself even at the desk of 3500 they can't buy me but if it was alcohol they would buy me champagne for 17k ? and they would ask me which hotel I want to go to," Akothee said.

She promised to help a young man join the high school, saying that she had seen the photo of the little boy in great need online;

"But for this young man, I can part with 10k. Anyone who has their details to send us. I have just arrived on Facebook ? This young man is asking well-wishers to help him join Withaga Boys in Murang'a County.

The boy from Gatundu North scored 379 in KCPE but his family cannot afford to finance his secondary education.

The father has been quoted as saying that he has tried to seek help without success," Akothee said.

At the end of last year, Akothee officially launched her school under her foundation and said that it was one of her long-time dreams come true.
