Konde Music Worldwide CEO and acclaimed Tanzanian artist Harmonize has stirred excitement in the music scene with the release of his fifth studio album, ‘Muziki Wa Samia’. Dropped on May 25, 2024, the album pays tribute to Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, marking a significant milestone in Harmonize’s career since his 2015 debut.
The launch event for ‘Muziki Wa Samia’ was a grand celebration, attracting notable figures from the entertainment industry, including singers, actors, and politicians. The highlight of the event was the attendance of President Samia Suluhu Hassan herself, who witnessed Harmonize perform several tracks from the album. “Harmonize has impressed me so much,” President Samia remarked. “He has grown, and I can also see other creatives flourishing, which makes me proud.”
The black and gold-themed event was a glamorous affair celebrating artistic talent and dedication. Harmonize took the opportunity to express his appreciation for President Samia’s support of the entertainment industry, acknowledging the positive impact her administration has had, particularly in providing employment opportunities for the youth.
“I recognize the contribution of your government of the sixth phase in the entertainment sector that employed more youths,” Harmonize stated on Instagram, expressing his gratitude and admiration for the President’s initiatives.
Harmonize dedicated the album not only to President Samia but also to all women, highlighting their importance and influence.
Since his debut in 2015, Harmonize has established himself as one of Tanzania’s top musical talents, with numerous hits and successful collaborations solidifying his place in the African music industry. This latest album follows his fourth album, ‘Visit Bongo’, released on November 24, 2023, which featured collaborations with renowned artists across Africa, including Nigeria’s Ruger and South Africa’s Nkosazana Daughter.
