Mugithi Singer Samuel Muchoki aka Samidoh received millions from guests who graced the launch of his Foundation dubbed Samidoh Foundation.
The launch was held at Parklands Sports Club and key State officials contributed millions towards the foundation.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua led the fundraiser where politicians could be seen handing over millions to him as he announced their names.
Several Senators and Members of parliament were prominently mentioned during the function. While reading the names, Riggy G jokingly told Senator Nyamu “Leo hakuna Muziki utulie, leo ni siku ya kutoa pesa,".
Samidoh put out a detailed statement concerning the launch of his foundation. He mentioned his humble background and the motive for starting the Foundation.
“In the last four years, through the Guitar ya Samidoh Initiative, we have supported people through Education, Feeding programs, scouting, and helping upcoming artists to record their music among other activities.
“And Now ladies and gentlemen the vision has grown big and we will be launching the Samidoh Foundation tomorrow on the 30th of November at the Parklands Sports Club. Join me in this Noble cause and help make a bigger impact,".
