Fashion Model Lupita Nyakisumo has opened up on why she prefers polygamous marriage.

Speaking to local media channels, Fashion Model Lupita Nyakisumo revealed the main reason behind her supporting polygamy marriage is because she wouldn’t want her kids left alone incase she dies.

“Polygamy, to me, means my children wouldn’t have to face that same kind of loneliness that I faced, because in any case I die they would be the other woman taking care of the kids, that is the main reason.” Lupita said.

She explained further on why she strongly supports polygamy saying she would love to experience the companionship she never had when she was young amongst other reasons.

“I don’t have parents I didn’t get to meet my mum but my dad died when I was in standard five, so I missed out on that fatherly love so if I can get a husband who is also a father at the same time that would be very amazing. I also support Polygamy because my parents died and then I was left alone.” Lupita shared.

Lupita made it clear that she would like to be with a man whose 35 years and above and the person be a family man whose willing to take in a second wife.

For Lupita Nyakisumo, marriage is not just about love or companionship—it’s about ensuring her children are well cared for, even in the worst-case scenario.
